Carina Mood has been appointed professor in Sociology with an emphasis on level of living research and will start on September 1st, 2015. Mood received her PhD in Sociology at Stockholm University in 2006 and has worked as a researcher at SOFI and the Institute for Futures Studies. Her major research interests are poverty, inequality and intergenerational processes, but she also studies child welfare in a broad perspective. In addition, she is interested in methodological development, and her 2010 article on logistic regression has been highly influential. More information about Mood is available on her website:
